◆Interrupt signal at reset When any of the following interrupt factors is set in WR1 register and Reset (RESETN input signal, software reset) is executed, a phenomenon which is the output signal INT0N momentarily drops to Low level unexpectedly occurs although there is no interrupt factor. The interrupt factors in WR1 register for each axis:D6 bit(C-END),D7 bit(D-END),D8 bit(H-END),D11 bit(SPLTE) Workaround: When this phenomenon causes the output signal INT0N momentarily drops to Low level and the host CPU, etc. read out RR1 register (interrupt factor display), all bits of each axis RR1 register become 0. Since a bit of the interrupt factor becomes 1 at the time of the correct interrupt, it can be judged that this phenomenon occurs if the read out figure is 0. |

In absolute position driving, the IC calculates the drive direction and the output pulse number according to the difference between the absolute position of the specified destination and the current position (logical position counter), and then performs the driving. If the output pulse number becomes over 2,147,483,646 pulses, it may not operate properly. Workaround: Specify the absolute destination position to make the output pulse number which is determined by the difference between the absolute position of the destination and the current position never exceed 2,147,483,646 pulses. In absolute position driving, when the user wants to drive the number of output pulses beyond this range, execute absolute position driving in two or more steps. |

In trapezoidal acceleration/deceleration fixed pulse driving, when triangle form prevention function is enabled, the drive speed can’t be changed to a higher value than the current set value in the latter half of the driving after finishing outputting half of the total output pulses. Workaround: When changing the speed during fixed pulse driving, disable Triangle Form Prevention function. |

MCX312 | In executing continuous interpolation, writing the interpolation command for the next segment during outputting the last pulse of the present segment, the irregular driving will occur, it keeps outputting pulses continuously. Workaround: ・Set the adequate values of output pulse number and drive speed for each segment in order to keep enough time to write interpolation data and command by CPU within the time for the interpolation driving of each segment. ・Set more than "2" as the output pulse number for each segment. |

Although the range of position comparison between position counter and compare register (COMP+, -) is shown as from -2,147,483,648 to +2,147,483,647 (signed 32-bit) in user’s manual, actually it is from -1,073,741,824 to +1,073,741,823 (signed 31-bit) due to the defect of IC. Workaround: Don’t compare the values over the range from -1,073,741,824 to +1,073,741,823. |

In index drive, executing HOM action after the execution of step of End-P= 0, end pulse is not output even though End-P= 1 is set. Workaround: Set the step of INC 0 End-P=1 to the axis in advance and execute it before HOM action. |

If the error occurs in Index drive mode, the LED indicators of X and Y do not flash and error status is not shown. Workaround: Confirm the error status by the flashing of parallel XEEROR and YERROR signals. instead. |
